The BCS 740 is our most popular two wheel tractor.  Combining serious power with compact dimensions and impressive versatility, the commercial-duty BCS 740 Two-Wheel Tractor is aimed squarely at allotment associations, landscape contractors, local authorities and country estates.

With the BCS 740 Two-Wheel Tractor, you get to choose the power source, be it the quiet, low-NOx, Honda GX390 petrol engine, or the ‘torquey’, fuel-efficient, Yanmar L100V diesel engine. Both units are available with either recoil or electric start.

Different implements, terrains and job-types require different ground speeds, so the BCS 740 Two-Wheel Tractor has been equipped with three forward gears and three reverse gears – there’s a suitable option for every situation.

A locking differential ensures successful operation whether you’re in a muddy field or on an icy pavement; brake-based steering – much like on tracked machines – confers the very best in manoeuvrability.

Making the BCS 740 Two-Wheel Tractor standout from its competitors is BCS’s unique, PowerSafe® clutch, which uses hydraulic power to achieve maximum torque upon engagement, and to ensure the wheels and power take-off are brought to an immediate stop the moment the OPC lever is released.

A rugged, all-gear, no-belt transmission ensures super-efficient power transfer with reduced maintenance and exceptional long-term reliability; a three-claw PTO attachment mechanism – the toughest in the business – means your implement of choice is locked into position in ultra-solid fashion.

Other desirable features include substantial, 254mm-diameter, agricultural-pattern pneumatic tyres, which enable a smooth run over rough ground; and a parking brake, which keeps the tractor firmly – and safely – in position when not in use.
