Westwood F255-4WD 4Trac, 726cc Kawasaki (FR730) twin cylinder 4wd 48" deck sweeper tractor. All new tractor with new 48" XRD deck this machine has great capabilities. Sweeper is an optional extra. The unique 4TRAC system turns a Westwood into a go anywhere mow anywhere garden tractor capable of tackling slopes, mud and rough terrain. With the F series you can take your Westwood to places where most ride on mowers cant go. Safely mow on slopes that previously required a brushcutter to clear. Tow a trailer through muddy copse or clear snow fro  your drive. As part of the operating system an electronic slope alert sounds an alarm and warns before an incline too great for safe mowing is reached. Dynamic traction control avoids scuffing the lawn in normal mowing conditions by varying the speeds of the front wheels. The machine is priced here with grass tyres, it can be factory fitted with chevron tyres for an extra £400.

The lightweight deck height selector can be adjusted through nine incremental settings to provide a cutting height of 12mm to 101mm (dependent on type of deck). 

 

 The Westwood brake system is a cleverly designed safety feature. It prevents the tractor from starting unless the brake is engaged. This important safety device is fitted as standard on all Westwood models.

 

Every Westwood garden tractor is fitted with a bullbar. This tough tubular bar is bolted to the tractor’s chassis and is positioned in front of the bonnet. It helps to protect the tractor from accidental impact damage.
