Stihl HS87T -30 the all new single sided hedge trimmer from Stihl. The HS87T has a new design with a 22.7cc two stroke engine powering the 30 inch blades through a new higher speed gearbox producing a finner cut. This machine is a hit with contractors and our customers have loved this new machine. Great balance, loads of power and now the exhaust is ported to the front of the machine so the user gets less fumes friom the engine. Running on Stihl two stoke a 50:1 ratio the machine burns cleanly.

Single-sided blades

STIHL hedge trimmers with single-sided blades are ideal for cutting between waist and chest height hedges.
Trimming variation (T)

The T variations of STIHL hedge trimmers provide the perfect trimming and shaping of hedges and shrubs. Thanks to the blade shape with smaller tooth spacing and lower tooth height in conjunction with the gearing for a high stroke rate, more specific shapes can also be achieved.
Electronic ignition module

This ensures reliable starting and trouble-free running. The ignition system is fully encapsulated and thus protected from damp and dirt.
Manual fuel pump (Purger)

A small fuel pump delivers fuel to the carburettor at the touch of a button. This reduces the number of starting pulls required following extended breaks in operations.
Anti-vibration system

Intense vibration at the handles of power tools can lead to long-term effects on blood vessels in the hands and arms. STIHL has therefore developed an effective anti-vibration system whereby the oscillations from the machine's engine are dampened which significantly reduces vibrations at the handles.
Long-life air filter system

Ensures longer cleaning intervals and better protection of the engine.
Tool free filler cap

Patented special filler caps for fuel and oil. These filler caps can be opened and closed again quickly and easily, without tools.
Single lever operation

The choke, start gas, operating position and stop function are integrated onto one operating element. Stop button with a single lever operation After pressing the stop button, the shaft jumps back to position I. The hedge trimmer is ready to start again immediately, thus preventing an incorrect operation. (similar to illustration)
Single-sided cutting blade
