This hedge trimmer from Echo has a huge reach with its 40 inch cutter bar, ideal for taller hedges and wide hedges. I use one of these and it makes cutting the top of a wide hedge a lot safer as you dont have to lean into the hedge so far as the 40 inch cutter gives a good reach. The machine is well balanced and offers enough power for the length of cut. Not so good for hedges with a lot of curves as you could end up stabbing it a lot.
