The Bear Cat 77412 Yard-Towable Chipper has a 12 hp Briggs & Statton Electric Start OHV InTec Engine. This chipper features independent and adjustable axles that can be adjusted for confined spaces or extended for increased stability.

All models are built with heavy-duty, 7-gauge chipper housing and trailer construction. Each contains a double-banded belt drive and features a feed chute opening 13"x14.5". The 14"x1" think, 49 lb. dynamically-balanced disc with cantilever design reduces wrapping while utilizing two reversible chipper blades. Quick change hitch and axle can be changed to front or back of chipper allowing the chipper to be towed from either end on both models. A hitch can be added to the rear of the chipper trailer for pulling an additional trailer. A 4.5" square optional discharge chute with deflector cap directs the chips and raises the discharge of chips into the trailer or back of a pickup.

All three models have a four-sided adjustable steel anvil. The PTO has a hand operated belt engagement.
